AI Jumpstart attendee resource kit

Bring one task. Leave with one useful AI system.

Use this page before class, during class, and after class. The workshop is not a lecture. You will build a Business Brain, one reviewed asset, one workflow map, and a full takeaway you can save outside the browser.

Before class

15-minute prep

  • Bring a laptop or tablet, charger, and the phone you use for login verification.
  • Make sure you can open a browser link from email or a QR code.
  • Open one AI tool: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, or one you already use.
  • Write down one offer, service, customer question, or repeated task you want to improve.
  • Choose where you will save your work after class: notes app, Google Doc, Word document, email to yourself, or a business folder.

Do not bring

Private data stays out

  • No passwords or login codes.
  • No payment cards, bank details, or private financial records.
  • No private customer records, addresses, employee files, or medical/legal details.
  • Use a cleaned-up example if the real situation is sensitive.

Class rule: AI drafts. People approve.

If tech gets messy

Fallback path

  • If login fails, use the backup worksheet.
  • If Wi-Fi is slow, build the Business Brain on paper.
  • If copy/paste is hard, ask for help early instead of losing twenty minutes.
  • If your AI account looks different, stay with the class pattern: context, prompt, review, save.

What you build in class

The five completion checks

1One AI tool open or a worksheet fallback ready.
2A reusable Business Brain for your business.
3One reviewed asset: post, FAQ, email, follow-up, or service description.
4One workflow map with a clear human-review rule.
5A full exported takeaway saved outside the browser.

After class

Use within 7 days

  1. Open your saved Business Brain.
  2. Paste it into your AI tool before asking for work help.
  3. Run one prompt from the prompt pack.
  4. Review the answer for facts, tone, privacy, prices, dates, and promises.
  5. Save the useful version in the same place as your Business Brain.

Your first reusable prompt

Keep this pattern

Role: what kind of helper should AI act like?

Context: what does it need to know about your business and customer?

Task: what should it produce?

Constraints: what should it avoid?

Output format: what should the answer look like?
